This poem is for my dear Mom n Dad..
Dear Divinity,
I have no words to utter,
Hereby, writing this letter.
As I speak of your praise,
I beg you for a promise:
You risked a second life,
For me to see this world;
You fed me your blood,
For me to grow and mould.
All the pain you faced,
All the stress you bore;
With not he slightest regret,
Enjoyed every bitter sore.
You became a lamp of hope,
When the eclipse shrouded me;
You became a guiding lore,
When I had to cross the sea.
I burnt those dreadful colds,
With the warmth of your smile;
And fought those slaying storms,
With the might of your will.
You showed me love,
You showed me faith;
You taught me courage,
You taught me truth.
You gave me all I needed,
What else can i want?
Yet one more thing I wish,
You’d promise to cherish:
In my next life too,
If there is one;
Once again I wish,
To be born as your son.
- With a heart,
Filled with awe;
Your beloved son,
From the grave.
